Job summary

Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is recruiting a Production Support Technician to develop work instructions and methods, and provide the necessary production tools to ensure smooth workshop workflows and high‑quality outcomes.

You will analyze technical information from the manufacturer, integrate it into the ERP system, and write or translate technical documents while ensuring compliance with aviation regulations. Collaboration in a multilingual environment is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electromechanics or aeronautics.
French or Dutch with knowledge of the other language and good knowledge of English.
Knowledge of electromechanics, mechanics and repair technologies.
Knowledge of engines and engine parts.
Analytical and synthetic, able to anticipate.
Enjoys teamwork in a multilingual environment.

Responsibilities

Analyze technical information from the manufacturer via Engineering and integrate into the ERP system.
Write, update and translate technical working documents with aviation regs in mind and ensure proper workshop application.
Participate in continuous improvement within the department.
Coordinate improvements of working methods and introduce new technologies; share RETEX via infoshop for mechanics.
Provide technical support to workshops, both theoretical and practical; ensure delivery and proper use of tooling by clear work instructions.
Participate in industrialisation (MRO and NEW) of new engine types.
Make repair proposals to the manufacturer to increase reparability of parts.
Draw up specifications for means of production.
