Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure that machines, tools, and the facility stay operational while safeguarding user safety.

With 5+ years in a production environment, you should have strong electrical skills, basic PLC knowledge, and the ability to read AutoCAD drawings. Dutch or French communication with basic English is preferred; day shifts with flexible hours apply.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Repairing machines and equipment in the workshop by identifying defects, diagnosing issues, and finding solutions.
• Maintaining and repairing tools used for aircraft engine maintenance in accordance with the manufacturers instructions, and adapting them if necessary based on internal guidelines.
• Regularly inspecting and scheduling maintenance for machines and tools, including the preparation and approval of precision instruments.
• Carrying out basic repairs on building installations such as electricity, plumbing, heating, and painting.
• Performing certain administrative tasks, such as preparing work requests.
• Guiding and supporting subcontractors on the shop floor.
• Reporting to the Maintenance Manager on completed repairs, maintenance activities, and incidents.

Your role:

The Maintenance Technician resolves technical issues to ensure that machines, tools, and the building remain operational at all times, while guaranteeing the safety of users.

• Repairing machines and equipment in the workshop by identifying defects, diagnosing issues, and finding solutions;

Requirements:

Your profile:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a production environment;
• Basic knowledge of PLC systems;
• Strong electrical skills;
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to adapt quickly;
• Willingness to investigate issues thoroughly and a strong 'can-do' mindset;
• Experience with AutoCAD for drafting, reading, and editing is a strong plus;
• At minimum, a high school diploma in an electrical or mechanical field;
• Good communication skills in Dutch or French, with a basic knowledge of English;
• Day shifts with flexible working hours.
