Catalay is seeking an Automation/Control Systems Engineer to collaborate with engineers on automation projects in a QC-driven environment.
You will drive development of safety-critical control systems from analysis through deployment, deliver thorough documentation, and support systems post-launch. Candidates should have an engineering degree in automation/electrical engineering, 4–5 years’ experience, fluency in French and good English, and readiness to travel about 20% of the time.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree in automation or electrical engineering with automation/control focus.
- 4–5 years of experience desirable in automation projects.
- Fluent in French and good level of English.
- Strong PLC programming and safety PLC know-how required.
- Experience with PROFIBUS/PROFINET and TCP/IP networking.
- Good documentation and QA/QMS alignment.
Responsabilités
- Collaborate with engineers to architect automation projects.
- Drive the development lifecycle of safety-critical control systems from analysis to deployment.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation.
- Provide post-launch technical support to ensure reliability.
- Travel internationally for short missions (about 20%).
