A leading industrial automation company in Belgium is seeking an Automation and Machine Vision Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of custom machine vision systems in industrial automation projects. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, strong experience with machine automation systems, and familiarity with machine vision platforms like Cognex. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited institution (vision component preferred).
• Availability to work varying hours and travel domestically/internationally.

Responsabilités

• Define scope of machine vision projects with customers.
• Conceptualize design and confirm specifications for machine vision systems.
• Program, test, and troubleshoot PLCs.

Connaissances

Designing and developing machine automation systems

Experience with Machine Vision Platforms (Cognex preferred)

Understanding of electrical and mechanical design (Solidworks, E-plan)

Fluent in English, Dutch and/or French

Formation

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or Computer Engineering

Outils

PLC programming (Siemens preferred)

Machine Vision Systems (Cognex, Keyence, Halcon, OpenCV, Tensorflow)
