IntaPeople Limited is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with Beckhoff expertise to support a machine-building project in the production industry in Belgium. You will develop and support automation systems for plastic bottle production lines, focusing on Beckhoff PLC technology and motion control, including XTS where applicable.

The role covers the full project lifecycle from machine development through testing and commissioning, collaborating with the wider engineering team.

• Experience in machine building projects and integration.
• Good English communication skills for collaboration.

Responsabilités

Automation Engineer – Beckhoff - Freelance

Location: Oudenaarde area, Belgium
Contract: Freelance
Duration: Initial 3 months
Start: October 2026 latest - earlier start available
Working pattern:Full time or 3 days per week min.
Rate: Negotiable

We are currently looking for an experienced Automation Engineer with strong Beckhoff experience to support an exciting machine-building project in the production industry.

The successful engineer will be involved throughout the project, from machine development through to testing and commissioning.

The role

• Develop and support automation systems for machinery used in plastic bottle production
• Work with Beckhoff PLC technology, ideally including XTS
• Develop and implement motion control solutions
• Support machine building and automation development
• Assist with testing, troubleshooting and commissioning throughout the project
• Work closely with the wider engineering team to deliver the machinery successfully

Essential experience

• Strong Beckhoff experience
• Experience with motion technology / motion control
• Background in machine building
• Good English communication skills

Desirable

• Hands-on experience with Beckhoff XTS
• Previous experience working on high-speed automated machinery or production lines
• Dutch

Contract details

• Freelance contract
• Initial 3-month contract, with potential for extension
