NOVA Engineering nv is seeking a Senior Automation Software Engineer to lead software activities in complex automation projects across the food, pharmaceutical and process industries. You will own software deliverables, develop, test, install and maintain industrial software, and prepare validation documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in automation, strong knowledge of TIA Portal, SCL, STL, LAD and SQL, plus .NET. English is mandatory; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years in automation and industrial software development.
• Strong knowledge of TIA Portal, SCL, STL, LAD and SQL.
• Experience with Schneider Drives is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of .NET is a plus.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are an advantage.
• Willing to work 3 days per week on-site in the Halle or Wommelgem area.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Profiel

Our client is looking for an experienced automation professional who combines strong technical expertise with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Software Engineering, or equivalent through experience.


• Minimum 10+ years of experience in automation and industrial software development.


• Strong knowledge of TIA Portal, SCL, STL, LAD, and SQL.


• Experience with Schneider Drives is considered a strong asset.


• Knowledge of .NET is a valuable plus.


• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are an advantage.


• Willing to work 3 days per week on-site in the Halle or Wommelgem area.
