Job summary

European Tech Recruit in Leuven is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join a major technology organization on an initial 12-month contract. The role focuses on developing and scaling infrastructure automation, managing Ansible Automation Platform, and improving security-related processes across a complex IT environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher.
Hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) or AWX.
PowerShell scripting experience is essential, alongside Python.
Experience with Windows automation, including WinRM and Active Directory.

Responsibilities

Manage and optimise Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), including workflows, governance and platform lifecycle management.
Develop automation solutions using Ansible, PowerShell and Python.
Automate certificate management, secrets management and security processes.
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, identity and application teams to scale automation.
Establish automation standards, document solutions and support best practices across technical teams.
