SABCA Limburg in Lummen, Belgium, is seeking a skilled process operator for our high-tech aerospace production line. You will start up and monitor autoclave-driven processes, connect electrical components, perform mould prep, and conduct quality checks in a safety-focused environment.

We value several years’ production experience, a forklift and overhead crane certificate, the ability to work independently or in a team, and a calm, detail-oriented approach under pressure.

At our Lummen site, SABCA Limburg, we are specialized in the manufacturing of high-tech composite assemblies for aircraft. On the one hand, we produce integrated skins for flaps and stabilizers using two automatic tape-layers and very large autoclaves and of course, our colleagues’ extended know-how. In cooperation with the Engineering office in Brussels, SABCA Limburg is also responsible for the flap track fairings of several aircraft. On the other hand, the Space industry is also present in this plant with the final system integration of Ariane and Vega assemblies. After an extensive in-company training, you will learn the complete production process from A to Z. You will then be responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality production process.

Your responsibilities:

• Start up and monitor the autoclave and the production process.
• Connect electrical and pneumatic components.
• Prepare moulds and remove finished parts from the moulds.
• Carry out quality checks during the production process.
• Keep your workplace clean and organized at all times.
• Solve first-line technical issues and take the appropriate actions according to the procedures.
• Help resolve computer and technical malfunctions.
• Work accurately and follow strict procedures and safety instructions.
• Work in an alternating early and late shift system
• Contribute to compliance with the ISO 14001 environmental standard.

• You have several years of experience as a (process) operator in a production environment.
• You hold a forklift and overhead crane operating certificate.
• You can work independently and remain calm and efficient under pressure.
• You are flexible and enjoy working as part of a team.

• You are willing to follow the necessary training to fully master the production process.
