Amaris Consulting is seeking an Associate Scientist in Belgium to provide analytical support for new molecular entities, including peptides and oligonucleotides. You will contribute across clinical Phase 1 to registration, focusing on Reference Standard characterization, method development, validation, release, and stability testing.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree with relevant laboratory experience.
• Hands-on experience with liquid chromatography and knowledge of ion chromatography and/or gas chromatography.
• Experience with chromatography data systems, preferably Empower and/or OpenLab.
• Good understanding of cGMP and regulated labs.
• Willingness to develop expertise in water determination and titrations.

Responsabilités

• Perform analyses for Reference Standard characterization focusing on LC, IC, and GC, including headspace and liquid injection.
• Develop fit-for-purpose LC, IC, and GC methods for accurate purity at low reporting thresholds.
• Support product and process characterization, method development, validation, release, and stability activities, mainly using LC.
• Evaluate analytical results, draw conclusions, and communicate findings to project stakeholders.
• Use chromatography data systems such as Empower and/or OpenLab to generate and document reliable data.
• Work in compliance with GMP, safety requirements, specifications, and regulatory guidelines.
• Manage priorities, take ownership of experimental work, and contribute to project activities.
