Job summary

AbbVie Europe seeks an Associate Director, Europe Regulatory Policy & Intelligence, to lead regional policy initiatives and liaise with health authorities and trade associations. You will translate regulatory trends into strategic positions and align with AbbVie portfolio priorities.

Ideal candidates bring extensive regulatory policy experience, strong communication, and a well‑established European network.

Qualifications

Degrees in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or Master’s/PhD in a scientific/health/legal/business field preferred.
Experience in pharmaceutical industry or with a health authority.
Regulatory policy and intelligence experience, including work with trade associations.

Responsibilities

Lead regional topics in regulatory policy and intelligence; define policy initiatives.
Act as policy expert; analyze proposed policies and communicate impact.
Prepare complex reports for senior management and external audiences; translate data into insights.
Engage with regulators, peers, and trade associations; support cross‑functional alignment.
Contribute to regulatory product development strategy and respond to information requests.
Develop cross-functional responses to HA consultations with scientific rigor.
