CSI Business Consulting in Belgium seeks a consultant to drive significant parts of client projects using Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and organizational redesign methods. You will train teammates, develop data-driven insights, and deliver impact with project teams across Belgium and EU engagements.

You will collaborate with experienced colleagues, participate in workshops, and contribute to CSI BC's growth while advancing toward project manager roles.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with outstanding academic record.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in a top tier consulting firm as Business analyst / Associate, or similar industry experience.
• Experience in operations and in project delivery.
• Fluency in English plus French and/or Dutch; all three languages preferred for Belgium.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability to develop client solutions.

Responsabilités

• Conduct interviews, prepare/participate/lead workshops, analyze processes and data.
• Conduct research, develop hypotheses, and solve issues with fact-based recommendations.
• Develop simulation models and synthesize conclusions for clients.
• Train and coach team members and CSI colleagues on project methods.
• Help grow CSI BC through client delivery and continuous improvement.

Description du poste

• You will be part of a team with possibly more consultants like yourself, an experienced project manager and a(n) (Associate) Partner.
• You will have the responsibility of a significant part of a larger project. In terms of client exposure, you should expect to see all ranks all the way up to senior management.
• Your work has multiple dimensions;
  • First of all, there is the responsibility to push the content (analysis, design, implementation) of your part of the project based on Lean and Six sigma or Agile techniques, but also organisational redesign techniques and full scale of change management tools – all the way up to delivering the actual impact
  • Another part of your responsibility will be to train and coach the people you work closely together with (both from client side as well the more junior CSI people).
• Typical activities include: conducting interviews, preparing-participating-leading workshops, process- and data analysis, conducting research, analysing and solving issues, forming hypotheses, developing simulation models, synthesising and presenting conclusions, proposing and implementing fact-based recommendations.
• You will receive excellent training and day-to-day coaching from colleagues and senior leaders on your teams.
• Outside of the client projects, we welcome your ideas and inputs for further development and shaping of CSI BC itself.
• After a few projects, you can further grow into a project manager type role or specialise in a certain content domain. We have a thorough coaching and evaluation process, but no “up-or-out” policy. If you enjoy yourself and you add value to our clients and CSI – you are welcome to keep any role you like. In the longer run, you could run for partner, based on the contributions to our business.
• Our clients continue to be Belgium based and EU-international, giving you the opportunity to do both domestic and international work.

Requirements and qualifications

• You hold a Master’s degree and an outstanding academic record
• You have 2+ years of relevant experience in a top tier consulting firm as Business analyst / Associate, or similar experience while working in the industry.
• Consulting basics are assumed to have been acquired.
• You have experience in -and an affinity with- operations and in project delivery.
• You are enthusiastic to see your own work through and are motivated by actual impact delivery.
• Solving difficult multidimensional issues is what gets your juices flowing but you also have the perseverance, the patience and agility to adapt theory to practice with all its constraints.
• You combine razor sharp analytical skills with a genuine interest in people and excellent communication skills.
• You possess an exceptional mix of passion, energy and entrepreneurship, and you like teamwork.
• You do not need to have experience in Operational Excellence, Lean, Six Sigma or the works but it is a plus.
• We need candidates fluent in English besides French and/or Dutch. If your ambition is to work in Belgium, then fluency in all three languages is a must.
