Qplox engineering is seeking an experienced ASIC Test & Production Engineer to drive testing, qualification, ramp-up, and high-volume production of ASIC products. You will collaborate with the Project Manager, customers, and external test houses to ensure a smooth transition from prototype to production.

The role requires hands-on ASIC qualification experience (HTOL, HAST, TC, ESD, LU) and a strong customer-focused, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Ideally 5+ years of experience in ASIC testing.
• Hands-on experience with ASIC qualification tests (HTOL, HAST, TC, ESD, LU).
• Experience in project-based environments and cross-functional collaboration.
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Define and plan work packages across project stages with the Project Manager.
• Set up and manage the ASIC test solution with the test house.
• Coordinate prototype-to-production ramp including ASIC characterization and qualification.
• Support and organize volume production after ramp-up.
• Develop cost and efficiency improvements including yield, multi-site testing, and packaging options.
• Collaborate with customers and test houses to optimize test strategies, costs, quality, and readiness.

We are looking for an experienced ASIC Test & Production Engineer to drive the testing, qualification, ramp-up, and volume production of ASIC products. In this role, you will work closely with the Project Manager, customers, and external test houses to ensure a smooth transition from prototype to high-volume production.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and plan work packages across different project stages together with the Project Manager.


• Set up and manage the ASIC test solution in collaboration with the test house.


• Coordinate the prototype-to-production volume ramp, including ASIC characterization and qualification activities.


• Support and organize volume production after the ramp-up phase.


• Develop cost and efficiency improvement initiatives, including yield improvement, multi-site testing, and alternative packaging solutions.


• Work closely with customers and test houses to optimize test strategies, costs, quality, and production readiness.

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.


• Ideally 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in ASIC testing.


• Hands-on experience with ASIC qualification, including HTOL, HAST, Temperature Cycling (TC), ESD, Latch-Up (LU), and related reliability tests.


• Experience working in project-based environments.


• Proactive, structured, and strongly customer-focused.


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
