ENGIBEX in Belgium seeks a Quality Engineer for ASIC production projects. You will ensure products meet defined quality and grade, and monitor the maturity of the production process in collaboration with the project manager.

The role requires a Master’s in Electronics, 5 years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of MIL STD and ASIC qualification flows. English fluency and regular travel to European subcontractors are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electronics (or equivalent) required.
• Good knowledge of MIL STD, automotive, space, and ASIC qualification flows.
• Pro-active and customer focused; able to work within a team of engineers.
• Excellent command of English is mandatory.
• Willing to travel regularly (1 week/month) to sub-contractors in Europe.

Responsabilités

• Close project gates effectively and on time.
• Monitor the quality of deliverables throughout the project.
• Ensure compliance with work procedures and standards.
• Mitigate risks within the project team.
• Execute 8D root cause analyses and subsequent actions.

Job Description

As quality engineer for our ASIC production projects, you are responsible to deliver products according the defined quality and grade. Together with the project manager, you will monitor the maturity of the process in which your projects operate.

• Properly closure of project gates
• Monitor quality of deliverables
• Monitor compliance to work procedures and standards
• Ensure risk mitigation within the project team
• 8D root cause analysis and F/A
• Liase with managers and staff to efficiently interact on project change requests
• Work proactively

Profile / Requirements

• Master's degree in Electronics, preferably with 5 years of relevant on the job experience in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of working according to standards like the MIL STD, automotive, space, etc ASIC qualification flows.
• Pro-active and customer focused, like to take initiative and you are very motivated to work within a team of engineers.
• Good knowledge of English is mandatory.
• Willing to travel on a regular basis (1 week/month) to our sub-contractors within Europe.
