Verhaert in Belgium seeks an ASIC Project Engineer to act as technical support for international customers, taking responsibility for all technical aspects of the test solution. You will define and plan work packages with the Project Manager, set up the ASIC test solution with the test house, and discuss the prototype-to-production ramp plan with customers, including characterization and qualification.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electronics, preferably with more than 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with ASIC qualification such as HTOL, HAST, TC, ESD, LU.
• Experience in project-based work.
• Pro-active and customer focused.
• Good knowledge of English is mandatory.

As an ASIC Project Engineer, you will act as the technical support for the international customers of our client. You will take up responsibility for all the technical aspects of the test solution.

The assignment

• The definition and overall planning of the work packages of the different project stages, together with the Project Manager.
• Setting up the ASIC test solution with the test house.
• Discussing the ASIC prototype-to-production volume ramp plan with the customer including characterization & qualification.
• Organizing volume production after the volume ramp phase. You propose cost improvement plans such as yield improvement plans, multi-site test solutions and different packaging options together with the customer and test house.

Required knowledge and skills

• You have a Master’s degree in Electronics, preferably with more than 5 years of relevant experience in the areas of ASIC testing.
• You have experience with ASIC qualification such as HTOL, HAST, TC, ESD, LU, etc.
• You have experience in project-based work.
• You are pro-active and customer focused.
• Good knowledge of English is mandatory.
