ICsense in Belgium is seeking a Project Leader to technically manage IC design and supply projects, ensuring technical quality and timely delivery. You will lead a team of designers, layouters and testers, coach with technical expertise, maintain an overview of mixed-signal development, and act as the technical customer contact.

The role requires at least 5 years in micro-electronics, proficiency with Cadence/Synopsys and MATLAB, plus strong English communication and analytical problem-solving

Qualifications

• Dynamic, highly motivated engineer in micro-electronics.
• At least 5 years of relevant industrial work experience.
• Experienced with mixed-signal Cadence/Synopsys and MATLAB.
• Strong communication and reporting skills, also in English.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Act as the technical lead for an entire project, meeting milestones and specs.
• Daily follow-up of designers, layouters, testers.
• Coach team members with technical expertise and problem solving.
• Maintain overview of the complete mixed-signal development.
• Lead internal status meetings and report progress.
• Be the technical contact for the customer.
• Draft IC design specifications and update on customer changes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Flag potential issues to Project Manager in time.

Scope

The project leader's role is to technically manage IC design and supply projects to ensure technical quality and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

Be the technical lead for an entire project, taking into account customer milestones and making sure technical specifications and quality standards are met:

• Daily follow-up of all project team members: designers, layouters, testers
• Support and coach team members with technical expertise and strong problem solving skills
• Maintain detailed overview and knowledge of the complete mixed-signal development
• Organize, lead, attend internal status meetings to keep abreast about the project progress
• Be the technical point of contact for the customer
• Write the IC design specification and ensure a timely update in case of customer change requests
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards
• Closely work together with and report potential problems on time to the Project Manager

Competences

• You are a dynamic and highly motivated engineer in micro-electronics
• You have at least 5 years of relevant industrial work experience
• You are an experienced user of the mixed-signal flow of Cadence and/or Synopsys and Matlab
• You have strong communication and reporting skills, also in English
• You demonstrate excellent analytical and problem solving skills
