Vivid Resourcing is hiring an AI Engineer to design, develop and deploy production-grade AI/ML models for financial SaaS products. You will build Generative AI and LLM-powered solutions to automate workflows, develop data pipelines, and implement MLOps practices in a finance-focused environment.

The role offers hybrid work with an office presence in Kontich, competitive salary up to €6,000 gross per month, and opportunities to advance toward Senior AI Engineer or Technical Lead.

Qualifications

• 2-8 years of experience in AI/ML, data science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Experience deploying production-grade AI/ML solutions.
• Hands-on with Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, RAG, AI agents, recommendations, or predictive modelling.
• Knowledge of data engineering concepts: ETL/ELT, APIs, data modelling, feature engineering, cloud data platforms.
• Experience with financial, transactional, or structured/unstructured data is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) in production.
• Knowledge of MLOps and CI/CD for AI deployments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English.

As an AI Engineer, you'll be joining an exciting company in Kortrijk, building AI-powered solutions for the financial services sector.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI and machine learning models for financial SaaS applications.
• Build Generative AI and LLM-powered solutions to automate financial workflows, document analysis, knowledge retrieval, and other business processes.
• Develop AI services and data pipelines that integrate seamlessly with cloud-based financial applications.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, feature engineering workflows, and data models supporting AI and analytics use cases.
• Implement RAG pipelines, AI agents, and LLM-based applications for financial and business use cases.
• Integrate AI models with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and modern software architectures.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, product managers, and domain experts to take AI solutions from prototype to production.
• Apply best practices around MLOps, model evaluation, monitoring, scalability, security, and responsible AI, particularly in a finance-focused environment.

Your Profile

• 2-8 years of experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Experience building, deploying, and maintaining production-grade machine learning or AI solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, RAG, AI agents, recommendation systems, or predictive modelling.
• Good understanding of data engineering concepts, including ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, data modelling, feature engineering, and cloud data platforms.
• Experience working with financial, transactional, business, or other structured/unstructured data is a strong advantage.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP, ideally in production environments.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Azure OpenAI, Databricks, LangChain, LangGraph, Hugging Face, PyTorch, TensorFlow, MLflow, or similar is an advantage.
• Understanding of MLOps and CI/CD for deploying and monitoring AI solutions is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into practical AI solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluent in English.
