Vivid Resourcing is seeking a Voice AI Engineer in Ghent to shape the future of voice AI and conversational automation. You will design, build, and deploy production-grade AI solutions for voice-driven applications using LLMs, STT, TTS and NLU.

You’ll work with structured and unstructured data, explore vector databases and AI agent frameworks, and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture with a competitive salary and hybrid work model in Ghent.

Working as a Voice AI Engineer within Ghent where you'll be responsible for shaping the future of Voice AI and conversational automation. You'll help build intelligent platforms that enable businesses to engage customers through natural, human-like conversations using the latest advances in generative AI, speech technology, and autonomous agents.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy production-ready AI and machine learning solutions for voice-driven applications.
• Develop conversational AI systems using large language models (LLMs), speech-to-text (STT), text-to-speech (TTS), and natural language understanding (NLU).
• Build intelligent voice agents capable of handling customer service, appointment scheduling, lead qualification, and business process automation.
• Engineer data pipelines and feature extraction workflows for large conversational datasets, including call recordings, transcripts, CRM data, and customer interaction histories.

Your Profile

• 2–8 years of experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning, NLP, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience building and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
• Familiarity with LLMs, generative AI, NLP, or conversational AI applications.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured customer or behavioural data.
• Knowledge of speech technologies, vector databases, RAG pipelines, or AI agent frameworks is considered an advantage.

Nice to Have

• Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source LLMs.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar orchestration frameworks.
• Familiarity with telephony platforms such as Twilio, SIP, WebRTC, or contact centre technologies.
• Experience building low-latency, real-time AI inference systems.
