AMA European Consulting is seeking an experienced Application Tester / Test Analyst to join a major modernization program for a public-sector client in Namur. You will ensure applications meet functional specs, security, and accessibility standards within a Java/Angular environment and Domain-Driven Design framework.

You will collaborate with a testing centre, developers, and stakeholders to design tests, execute them, and report progress.

Qualifications

• ISTQB certifications required and relevant testing experience.
• Experience with Selenium, TestLink and UFT.
• Proficiency with Jira, BPMN and UML 2 modeling.
• French language proficiency at C2 level.
• Willingness to work on-site in Namur at least 50%.

Responsabilités

For this role, you will work with a major public-sector organization based in Namur.

The organization is modernizing its information system and rewriting its applications using a Java and Angular architecture based on Domain-Driven Design principles.

CONTEXT

We are looking for an experienced Application Tester / Test Analyst to support a major application-modernization programme.

You will contribute to the development process by ensuring that delivered products comply with functional specifications, business requirements, security standards, legal requirements, and accessibility standards.

You will work closely with the testing competence centre, developers, analysts, architects, and project stakeholders.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Analyse specifications, business requirements, architecture documents, and other test inputs.
• Contribute to the definition of the product’s test approach and test strategy.
• Design and document test cases, test conditions, and test procedures.
• Define test prerequisites, test datasets, expected results, execution sequences, and required testing resources.
• Execute tests and monitor their progress.
• Ensure traceability between requirements and test coverage.
• Identify, document, and qualify defects.
• Manage and track defects using Jira.
• Provide clear testing reports and progress updates.
• Prepare test summaries and contribute to test-closure activities.
• Maintain and enrich the existing test repository.
• Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.
• Apply the testing standards, methodologies, and tools used within the organization.
• Support the testing of transversal tools and accounting applications.

TOP SKILLS – MUST HAVE

• Confirmed professional experience as an Application Tester or Test Analyst.
• ISTQB Foundation certification.
• ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst certification or equivalent.
• Confirmed experience with Selenium.
• Confirmed experience with TestLink.
• Confirmed experience with UFT.
• Practical experience with JMeter.
• Knowledge of Jira.
• Knowledge of BPMN.
• Knowledge of UML 2.
• Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect.
• Ability to analyse requirements and translate them into detailed test cases.
• Experience defining test data, expected results, and testing prerequisites.
• French proficiency at C2 level.
• Availability to work on-site in Namur for at least 50% of the assignment.

BONUS SKILLS – NICE TO HAVE

• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design.
• Experience with Confluence.
• Knowledge of Sonar.
• Experience testing Java and Angular applications.
• Previous testing experience within the public sector.
