SEIDOR is seeking an Angular Developer to join our Brussels team. You will build front-end features with Angular, implement responsive and accessible UIs, and integrate with APIs and backend services.

You will apply security best practices and perform unit/integration testing while ensuring code quality through reviews. The role requires 10+ years in IT, 4+ years in frontend development, and experience mentoring or leading small teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 10+ years in IT with frontend experience.
• Minimum 4 years in frontend development with Angular/TypeScript.
• Experience mentoring developers or leading small teams.
• Experience in international or governmental contexts.
• Strong knowledge of SPA development with Angular and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace or App Insights.
• Frontend architecture, performance optimization, and accessibility.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?

• Develop front-end features using modern frameworks (e.g. Angular)
• Implement responsive and accessible user interfaces based on UX/UI designs
• Integrate front-end components with APIs and back-end services
• Apply security best practices (input validation, authentication/authorization, secure handling of data)
• Perform unit and integration testing; debug and fix issues
• Ensure code quality through reviews and adherence to standards

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

The consultant must demonstrate experience in:

• Bachelor's degree (EQF level 6) in Computer Science, or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of IT related experience
• At least 4 years of experience in front-end development.
• Experience mentoring junior developers or leading small development teams.
• Experience working in an international/intergovernmental organization or a central national administration.
• 7 years of experience developing single-page applications with Angular and TypeScript
• 5 years of experience with development and DevSecOps tooling, including version control (Git), issue tracking (e.g. Jira or equivalent), collaboration (e.g. Confluence or equivalent), and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo or equivalent)
• 3 years of experience with client-side monitoring tools like Dynatrace Real User Monitoring and Azure Application Insights
• 3 years of experience as technical lead of a front-end development team, including front-end architecture, performance optimisation and accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) compliance
• Experience in web security, authentication and authorisation protocols (OAuth, Open ID Connect)
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design Experience developing front-end applications in at least one of the customer’s business domains (event management, safety and security, or document management).
