PwC Belgium is seeking an Anaplan Model Builder to support clients by developing finance applications and assisting with user training. The role emphasizes collaboration and skill-building within a flexible work environment, allowing for a balance between office and home life.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in relevant fields.
• Hands-on experience with Anaplan and other EPM solutions is preferred.
• Anaplan Model Builder Level 2 certification is required.

Your impact

As an Anaplan Model Builder, you’ll make an impact by:

• Demonstrating a keen interest in CFOs’ agendas and how they’re impacted by current trends in technology and the global economy


• Gathering requirements and translating them into concrete user stories


• Developing (Anaplan) finance apps in different areas including consolidation, costing, planning, budgeting and forecasting


• Training client end users and supporting them during UAT


• Supporting onboarding of the client’s model builders and preparing training materials; being responsible for providing top-quality deliverables to clients


• Analyzing the business needs of different clients and translating them to the right Anaplan blueprint


• Bridging the gap between IT and business using analytics and intelligent automation tools to assess processes, define requirements and providing data‑driven recommendations


• Participating actively in a great and growing team delivering various projects end-to-end including technical implementation covering different use cases (finance and beyond)

About you

• You have a proactive approach and flexible attitude with the ability to demonstrate initiative and reliability


• You hold a university degree in Business Administration, Economics or computer science and at least 2 years of work experience


• You have hands‑on experience with Anaplan and potentially with other Enterprise Performance Management solutions, BI/analytics, robotics or AI solutions (e.g. CCH Tagetik, Oracle EPM, Board, Workday Adaptive, OneStream, SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, Power BI)


• Anaplan certification (i.e. Model Builder L2) is considered a requirement


• You demonstrate working knowledge or relevant project experience in one of the following areas: accounting, consolidation, planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting


• You have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and attention to detail


• You have a true team spirit, and you are eager to work in a client‑focused, quality‑driven environment


• You demonstrate a willingness to take ownership (i.e. key project deliverables or day‑to‑day tasks in your current role)


• You have excellent written and oral communication skills in English and either Dutch or French; any other language is an asset


• Exposure to improvement initiatives related to finance processes, systems, organization, working capital, cash flow, cost reduction, etc. is an asset


• Consulting exposure is a plus but not a requirement
