In4Matic is seeking an Analytics Engineer to shape its data governance and analytics capabilities. You will turn complex data into reliable, reusable models that support better decision-making, reporting, and operational efficiency across the organisation.

You will build dbt models on a cloud data platform, optimise datasets for Power BI, and collaborate with business stakeholders to translate questions into concrete data transformations. Strong SQL, dbt, and Python skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and scalable data transformations.
• Experience building and maintaining data models in dbt.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms and reporting environments.
• Experience with Power BI, including semantic modelling and measures.
• Ability to work with existing codebases, improve structure, and add automated tests.
• Familiarity with AWS Athena, Python, Scrum, DevOps, or AWS is a plus.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts, processes, and architectures.
• Experience with tools such as Cognos or Datastage is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Translate raw data into clear, reusable data models for business use.
• Build and maintain dbt models on a cloud-based data platform, from staging through to the reporting layer.
• Onboard new data sources by analysing their structure and identifying potential insights.
• Take ownership of existing code by refactoring, troubleshooting, maintaining, and extending it where needed.
• Optimise datasets for reporting and visualisation, including semantic models and measures in Power BI.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to translate analytical questions into concrete data transformations and models.
• Support data quality through automated checks and thorough documentation.
• Document your work clearly to ensure it remains transferable and maintainable.
