Datashift is seeking a senior Analytics Engineer to transform raw data into clean, tested datasets that drive business decisions. You will work at the intersection of software engineering and business understanding, delivering reliable data assets for clients across the Benelux.

You will design data models, write dbt models, collaborate with analysts and leaders, and establish governance and quality checks to enable trusted analytics products.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of experience as a Data or Analytics Engineer
• Fluent in English and Dutch
• Cloud environment experience
• End-to-end data perspective approach

Responsabilités

• Data Modeling — Designing data models that reflect how the business side actually works
• Stakeholder Collaboration — Working with data analysts, BI teams, and business leaders to understand the meaning and potential business value of their data
• dbt — Writing and testing dbt models that transform raw data into trusted data assets
• Data Testing & Quality — Building automated tests to immediately discover anomalies and interrupted data flows
• Documentation & Governance — Creating semantic layers and metric definitions so analysts, BI developers and AI applications can reliably access governed data
• Knowledge Sharing — Teaching colleagues about data modeling patterns, best practices, and helping them level up their craft
