Job summary

Oliver James Group is seeking a Mainframe Analyst Developer (Medior/Senior) in Belgium to own the design and delivery of robust mainframe solutions. You will lead technical analyses, craft reliable software, and drive modernization while ensuring stability and performance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software development, strong mainframe skills (C, COBOL, PL/1), and experience with SQL/DB2, z/OS, CICS, JCL, and related tools. Fluency in French or Dutch and English proficiency are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience, ideally with Mainframe systems.
• Proficient in C, COBOL, or PL/1 and relational databases (SQL/DB2).

Additional assets

• Experience with z/OS, PL/1, CICS, JCL, SOA/ESB, TWS, Web Services, or Java.
• Knowledge of accounting principles or financial applications.
