imec in Leuven, Belgium, is seeking a Process Engineer with a strong background in deposition techniques to develop and maintain ALD/PECVD processes for future memory devices. You will work in the MIDA department's Thin Films for Functional Materials group on advanced materials and devices, collaborating with various stakeholders in a 300 mm pilot line.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in chemistry, physics, material science or engineering.
• Hands-on experience operating deposition tools and development of processes, especially ALD/PECVD.
• Expert knowledge of thin film properties and characterization methods.
• Experience with thin film metrology (ellipsometry, XRR, XRF, 4-point probe).
• Familiarity with SPC in semiconductor ALD development.
• Data analysis skills (MATLAB, Python) and JMP are a plus.
• Strong teamwork in an international environment.
• Willingness to work hands-on in a cleanroom environment.
• Excellent English communication and reporting skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain thin film deposition processes (ALD/PECVD) for memory devices.
• Sustain process development within industrial and funded projects.
• Collaborate with equipment/material suppliers and internal/external customers.
• Keep up-to-date with deposition advances and assess their potential for device fabrication.
• Work in imec's 300 mm pilot line using state-of-the-art deposition/characterization equipment.
