ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS is seeking a Senior Technical Lead Developer – Backend to drive a team building core business applications. You will act as the technical reference, combining hands-on development with leadership and collaboration with project stakeholders.

You will lead the team, ensure code quality, promote best practices, and guide architectural decisions while coaching developers and contributing to estimations and planning. Hybrid work in Brussels is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum senior backend/lead experience in a .NET environment.
• Fluent French is mandatory for the role.
• Strong leadership and coaching capabilities.

AISB-1003 Senior Technical Lead Developer – Backend - .NET

ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS is looking for a Senior Technical Lead Developer – Backend to join a team developing core business applications in a challenging technical environment. You will act as the technical reference for the team, combining hands‑on development with technical leadership, coaching and collaboration with key project stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and support the development team from a technical perspective.
• Ensure code quality, performance, maintainability and security.
• Define and promote development standards and best practices.
• Conduct and supervise code reviews.
• Promote CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Coach developers and support their technical growth.
• Solve complex technical issues and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts and Product Owners.
• Contribute to technical estimations, planning and risk management.

Your Technical Expertise

• Expert knowledge of C# / .NET / .NET Core / .NET 8+.
• Strong experience with REST APIs and Entity Framework Core.
• Solid knowledge of software architecture, OOP and Design Patterns.
• Experience with Oracle 19+ and SQL Server 2016+.
• Strong knowledge of Git and Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Apache ecosystem and Java environments.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity and secure development practices.
• Experience in Agile environments.
