Craftzing Group is seeking a Mid-Level AI Systems Engineer to design, build, deploy and operate production-grade AI systems. The role blends AI engineering (60–70%) with MLOps (30–40%) to deliver reliable, scalable LLM-based applications and secure rollouts.

You will work across teams, report to the Head of ML and collaborate with Sagacify and Craftzing delivery units. Expect hands-on work with LLMs, agents and RAG pipelines, and a potential path toward team leadership.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of LLM fundamentals, transformers and tuning.
• Proven ability to design production-grade AI systems and pipelines.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, or Dutch plus French, for cross-team collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Orchestrate AI system components: LLMs, vector databases, APIs and interfaces.
• Develop autonomous agents and conversational systems with external tools.
• Build and optimise RAG pipelines for grounded, contextual answers.
• Evaluate system quality with generative AI metrics and production monitoring.
• Deploy and scale solutions with latency, security and cost focus.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, DevOps and data teams for delivery.
