You will partner with major financial institutions, shaping AI journeys and ensuring measurable value while maintaining ethical standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of professional experience in AI-led transformation within financial services.
• Experience in the financial services sector (banking, insurance, or financial market infrastructure).
• Excellent English communication skills and fluency in Dutch or French.
• Business and strategic analysis skills, including value modelling and prioritisation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Shape AI and GenAI strategy and roadmap aligned with client goals and operating models.
• Identify, assess, and prioritise AI and GenAI use cases with business and technical teams.
• Build business cases for AI initiatives with value hypotheses, cost estimates, and risk assessments.
• Define success metrics for AI solutions and oversee measurement and continuous improvement.
• Ensure responsible and ethical AI practices, including bias mitigation, transparency, and regulatory compliance.
• Stay updated on AI trends, vendors, and regulatory developments and translate into client implications.

Join our AI Competence Centre and work on influential projects for clients such as ING, Belfius, P&V, Euroclear and SWIFT. You’ll work with top tier financial institutions to help shape their AI agenda; and plan and execute their AI journey. You’ll guide teams in identifying high-value use cases; ensuring all initiatives are aligned with business strategy, ethically sound, and delivering measurable value.

What will you do?

As an AI Strategy & Use Case Lead you will shape how AI and GenAI create real, measurable value for our clients, bridging strategy, technology, and responsible adoption in highly regulated environments.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining an AI strategy and roadmap aligned with corporate goals and target operating models
• Identifying, assessing, and prioritising AI and GenAI use cases together with business and technical teams
• Building business cases for AI initiatives, including value hypotheses, cost estimates, and risk assessments
• Defining success metrics for AI solutions and overseeing measurement and continuous improvement
• Ensuring responsible and ethical AI practices, including bias mitigation, transparency, and regulatory compliance
• Staying on top of AI trends, vendors, and regulatory developments, translating them into concrete implications for clients

Your skills & qualifications

• At least 6 years of professional experience in AI-led transformation within financial services
• Experience in the financial services sector (banking, insurance, or financial market infrastructure)
• Excellent English communication skills and fluency in Dutch or French
• Business and strategic analysis skills, including value modelling and prioritisation frameworks
• Solid understanding of AI and ML concepts (e.g. supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, computer vision, generative models)
• Understanding of data governance, security, and privacy in the context of AI
• Comfortable discussing architecture and technical documentation with engineers, without being a hands-on developer
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills (workshops, coaching sessions, presentations)
• Customer-oriented and outcome-inspired attitude
