Oper, a European Fintech company, is a leader in cloud-based digital mortgage software, with offices in Antwerp and Zürich. We’re building Herman, an AI agent for mortgage origination, combining AI engineering, product management and solutions architecture to automate workflows for banks.

As an AI Solutions Engineer, you’ll scope and ship AI prototypes, work directly with clients, and turn prototypes into production features. This applied, hybrid role demands coding plus client collaboration.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of software development with hands-on AI/LLM work.
• Strong Python and modern AI tooling experience.
• Ability to structure projects and own delivery end-to-end.
• Client-facing experience and excellent communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Scope and build working AI prototypes (LLMs, RAG, agentic automation).
• Engage directly with clients: workshops, requirements, demos.
• Define and manage AI use cases to scale beyond a single client.
• Work within your team to turn prototypes into production features.
• Own delivery timelines and communicate progress clearly.
