Qplox engineering seeks an AI & Software Solutions Engineer to join a semiconductor R&D environment and develop production-quality software, data solutions and AI-powered applications that help engineering teams work smarter and faster.

You’ll work at the intersection of software engineering, AI, data and semiconductor manufacturing, contributing to the evolution of a Manufacturing Execution System and the broader R&D software ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• 4–8 years of relevant experience in software engineering, AI/ML, or data engineering.
• Production-quality software development experience.
• Strong Python skills.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents or RAG.
• Knowledge of databases, APIs, cloud technologies.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Develop scalable software applications, services and automation solutions for semiconductor R&D and manufacturing.
• Contribute to the evolution of MES platforms and tools supporting process-flow definition, execution and reporting.
• Build applications and services on top of an enterprise R&D Data Platform.
• Design and implement AI agents, copilots and GenAI solutions that support engineering teams.
• Apply technologies such as LLMs, RAG, machine learning and advanced analytics to real-world engineering challenges.
• Develop APIs, data integrations and cloud-based solutions following modern software engineering practices.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, data specialists and semiconductor process engineers.
