Job summary

Satellit SRL is seeking a seasoned Fullstack Developer to build AI-powered applications in a cross-functional team in Belgium. You will design backend services, integrate AI components, and optimize retrieval and orchestration workflows. The role emphasizes secure handling of data, observability, and collaboration with product stakeholders.

The position requires 5+ years of Fullstack experience and a strong ability to balance performance, cost, and security in production-grade AI systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Fullstack Developer.
• Experience delivering AI-powered applications and back-end services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-powered applications using LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows.
• Build backend services, APIs, and integrations for AI-centric applications.
• Design and improve retrieval pipelines including chunking, embeddings, vector search, and reranking.
• Work with LLM APIs and AI orchestration frameworks to build reliable workflows.
• Implement evaluation, testing, monitoring, and observability for AI applications.
• Define safe patterns for tool use, human-in-the-loop, and agentic behavior.
• Collaborate with engineers and product/business stakeholders to align solutions.
• Support model selection based on quality, cost, latency, and security.
• Troubleshoot issues such as hallucinations and high latency.
