Oper, a European Fintech headquartered in Antwerp, Belgium, seeks an AI-Augmented DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team and scale the Herman AI agent across Europe. You’ll own the cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and platform reliability on sovereign EU infrastructure, with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Argo CD, mainly on GCP and IBM Cloud.

You will lead AI-native automation while ensuring security and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of DevOps or platform engineering experience or equivalent ownership of production infrastructure.
• Strong cloud experience, primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP); multi-cloud with AWS/Azure/IBM Cloud considered a plus.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Argo CD.
• Proficient with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab or GitHub.

Responsabilités

• Own and evolve cloud infrastructure behind Herman and our SaaS product.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ship fast and safely.
• Run Kubernetes workloads and manage deployments via GitOps with Argo CD.
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform on GCP and IBM Cloud.
• Provide hands-on debugging and support to developers and non-developers.
• Own security and compliance to meet ISO 27001 and NIST requirements.
• Manage secrets, identities, and certificates securely across the platform.
• Participate in on-call duties to ensure system availability.
