Oper, a European fintech, is seeking a Business Analyst (DACH) to join our Customer Success team. You will start with one flagship Austrian customer, translating business needs into a configured, live Oper platform and expanding into a broader portfolio of German-speaking lenders as we grow in DACH.

This is ideal for someone who loves structuring messy problems, running workshops with bankers and product owners, and describing requirements as concrete, testable specs for engineering.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience in consulting (Big-4, boutique strategy/tech, or implementation consulting).
• Fluent in German and English
• Love structuring problems; messy conversations come out as clean documents and next steps
• Enjoy customer and end-user interaction: workshops energize you
• Technical affinity: comfortable reading API documentation and configuring software; no coding required
• AI-native: can name tools, workflows, and concrete recent examples where AI gave leverage
• Action-oriented in ambiguous situations
• Comfortable in a fast-growing SaaS environment

Responsabilités

• Capture and structure customer requirements
• Bridge between customer needs and Oper deliveries
• Run discovery workshops with DACH customers
• Capture functional and business requirements in clear documentation
• Map requirements to Oper product: identify out-of-the-box vs configuration vs engineering
• Translate business needs into user stories and functional specs
• Manage stakeholder expectations through the project lifecycle
• Review technical API documentation from core banking systems, CRMs, and online banking platforms
• Identify and define integration points with Oper engineering
• Document data flows, contracts, and edge cases for go-live
• Make recommendations on what to integrate now vs later
• Configure mortgage products, business rules, and customer journeys inside Oper
• Validate configurations against scope and acceptance testing
• Lead training sessions for end users and customer champions
• Stay close to the customer through go-live and hand over to Customer Success
• Use AI tools to scaffold documentation, draft specs, summarize workshops
• Identify where AI adds value and design workflows accordingly
• Help push AI-native delivery for Oper
