Job summary

TechWolf is seeking an AI Engineering Lead based in Belgium to lead a small team of engineers, balancing hands-on work with leadership. The role focuses on delivering scalable AI solutions, mentoring staff, and driving process improvements.

The ideal candidate has 4–5 years in AI projects, strong Python skills, and experience guiding engineers. The position supports hybrid work with regular in-office collaboration at Ghent and other locations.

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years delivering impactful AI systems.
• Experience leading or coaching engineers.
• Able to plan and oversee team-level projects and optimize workflows.

Responsibilities

• Raise the talent bar — hire and develop team members with guidance from senior leaders.
• Execute and architect for the future — act as player-coach on key projects and set clear objectives.
• Oversee small technical projects and ensure timely delivery within budget.
• Plan and organize execution of team-level projects within defined timeframes.
• Analyze team workflows to boost efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate with other teams to align on cross-functional initiatives.
