At Dataroots, you will design, build and deploy AI solutions that create measurable value for clients across diverse industries. You’ll work on modern GenAI and Agentic AI use cases, focusing on productionization, robust deployment pipelines, automated testing, and observability to ensure reliability and maintainability.

You’ll bring hands-on MLOps expertise, strong Python/SQL skills, and experience deploying AI workloads on major cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience building, deploying and operating AI systems in production.
• Strong software engineering skills with Python and SQL; best practices in software engineering.
• Experience building GenAI applications and familiarity with LLMOps such as prompt management, evaluation frameworks, retrieval-based systems, guardrails, AI observability and LLM lifecycle management.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for AI applications.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tooling.
• Experience deploying AI workloads on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Solid understanding of MLOps practices including experiment tracking, model lifecycle management, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, observability and versioning.
• Strong communication and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for clients.
• Pragmatic, business-oriented mindset: translate business problems into technical scopes and drive AI solutions to land with product thinking.
• Experience working in consulting is a strong plus.

Your role

At Dataroots, we deliver end-to-end data and AI solutions, from strategy and platform design to data engineering and AI-enabled systems. Within that team, you design, build and deploy AI solutions that deliver tangible business value for our clients across a variety of industries, spanning classical ML, modern GenAI, and Agentic AI use cases. Beyond developing AI solutions, you have a particular passion for bringing them into production. You design robust deployment pipelines, automate testing and releases, implement monitoring and observability, and help build AI systems that remain reliable, scalable and maintainable throughout their lifecycle.

By combining strong AI engineering skills with expertise in MLOps and LLMOps, you help clients operationalize AI at scale. Whether it's deploying machine learning models, productionizing GenAI applications, or improving the reliability and governance of AI systems, you ensure solutions are built to create lasting business value.

Your Expertise

You bring the following to the table:

• A deep passion for Artificial Intelligence and modern AI engineering practices.

• At least 3 years of experience building, deploying and operating AI systems in production.

• Strong software engineering skills, with excellent proficiency in Python and SQL and a solid understanding of software engineering best practices.

• Experience building modern GenAI applications and familiarity with LLMOps practices such as prompt management, evaluation frameworks, retrieval-based systems, guardrails, AI observability and LLM lifecycle management.

• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for AI applications.

• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tooling.

• Experience deploying AI workloads on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP).

• A solid understanding of MLOps practices including experiment tracking, model lifecycle management, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, observability and versioning.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for clients.

• Experience working in consulting is a strong plus.

• Fluency in English. Dutch and/or French is a significant advantage.
