Datashift in Gent, Belgium is seeking an AI Engineer who crafts scalable AI solutions from PoC to production, collaborating with clients to uncover core challenges and select the best-fit approach, from genAI to traditional ML. You’ll work in an agile team, emphasize security and privacy, and communicate complex solutions to stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in industry, preferably in consultancy.
• Background in business engineering, civil engineering, or related field.
• Strong Python & SQL skills, with data cleaning and pipelines.
• Experience with GenAI, ML, and statistical modeling.

Responsabilités

• Translate client needs into AI-based solutions and proof of concepts.
• Build scalable AI applications from PoC to production.
• Collaborate with Datashift experts and stakeholders.
• Ensure security and privacy considerations from the start.
• Work in an agile environment and adapt to changing needs.
• Communicate technical solutions to diverse audiences.
• Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus.
