In The Pocket, a European digital product studio, seeks an AI Engineer to harness foundation models into capable, trustworthy products that delight users and grow businesses. You will design AI-powered features, guide ideas to production, and ensure robust evaluation from day one.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams across client projects, balancing pragmatic solutions with ethical considerations. Fluent English is required, with Dutch or French as a plus, in a dynamic, learning-focused

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field or proven AI engineer track record.
• Strong knowledge of designing, creating and operating LLM-based solutions.

Responsabilités

• Design and build AI-powered features on top of foundation models (agents, multimodal retrieval systems, assistants).
• Guide concepts from idea to prototype to production deployment.
• Build evaluation into the workflow to prove system reliability.
• Design for security and data protection from day one, especially in regulated environments.
• Work directly with clients to translate needs into concrete requirements.
• Share learnings with the AI practice through demos, sessions, or write-ups.
