Job summary

Keystone Solutions zoekt een ervaren AI Engineer voor een consultancy missie bij een klantsite. Je bouwt, test en beheert AI-componenten die bruikbaar zijn voor de organisatie, implementeert agents en modelintegraties, en ontwikkelt pipelines, observability en platformbouwstenen.

Je werkt aan CI/CD en MLOps, beveiliging, documentatie en governance, en levert betrouwbare oplossingen. Vereisten: 5+ jaar hands-on ervaring als software/ML engineer, Python en Java, API's en embeddings/retrieval

Qualifications

• 5+ jaar hands-on ervaring als software/ML engineer, platform engineer of vergelijkbaar vakgebied.
• Sterke programmeervaardigheden in Python en Java.
• Ervaring met API's, authenticatie, containers en geautomatiseerd testen.
• Praktische kennis van LLM's, embeddings, retrieval, agents, model-APIs en evaluatiemethoden.
• Ervaring met CI/CD, Git, infrastructure as code, observability en cloud- of container-platforms.
• Aandacht voor security, privacy, documentatie en operationele betrouwbaarheid.
• Kennis van de publieke sector, G-Cloud of OISZ-context is een plus.

Responsibilities

• Implementeer AI-diensten, agents, retrieval-oplossingen en API-integraties.
• Bouw herbruikbare components voor modeltoegang, prompting, contextbeheer, evaluatie, logging en foutafhandeling.
• Stel geautomatiseerde tests en evaluatie-sets op voor kwaliteit, betrouwbaarheid, security, performance en kosten.
• Pas CI/CD en MLOps/LLMOps-praktijken toe voor versiecontrole, deployment, configuratie, monitoring en rollback.
• Technische ondersteuning voor sandboxes en proof of concepts.
• Bereid AI voor op productie volgens architectuur-, security- en governance-eisen.
• Ondersteun data- en platformteams met privacy-veilige testdata en datastromen.
• Houd technische documentatie, runbooks en voorbeelden bij zodat andere teams oplossingen kunnen hergebruiken.
• Analyseer operationele issues en implementeer verbeteringen op basis van logs, evaluaties en gebruiksdata.

Job description

Mission Overview:

We are seeking an AI Engineer for a consultancy mission at a client site representing Keystone Solutions. In this role, you will build, test, and manage the technical components that make AI applicable within the organization. You will be responsible for implementing agents, retrieval solutions, model integrations, pipelines, observability, and platform building blocks, while supporting teams in applying these in concrete use cases.

Responsibilities:

• Implement AI services, agents, retrieval solutions, and API integrations.
• Build reusable components for model access, prompting, context management, evaluation, logging, cost tracking, and error handling.
• Set up automated testing and evaluation sets for quality, reliability, security, performance, and cost.
• Apply CI/CD and MLOps/LLMOps practices for version control, deployment, configuration, monitoring, and rollback.
• Technically support sandboxes and proofs of concept.
• Prepare AI for production according to architecture, security, and governance requirements.
• Support data and platform teams with privacy-safe test data, data flows, and connections to existing systems.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and examples so that other teams can reuse solutions.
• Analyze operational issues and implement improvements based on logs, evaluations, feedback, and usage data.

Technical Competencies:

• Experience as a software engineer, platform engineer, ML engineer, or similar hands-on role (5+ years).
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Python and Java.
• Experience with APIs, authentication, containers, and automated testing.
• Practical knowledge of LLMs, embeddings, retrieval, agents, model APIs, and evaluation methods.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, infrastructure as code, observability, and cloud or container platforms.
• Attention to security, privacy, documentation, and operational reliability.
• Knowledge of the public sector, G-Cloud, or OISZ context is a plus.

Selection Process:

After receiving the CVs, they will be analyzed, and a shortlist of 3-5 candidates will be created based on the criteria defined in the ProUnity contract. These candidates will then be invited for an interview where their technical and generic competencies, as well as their language skills, will be evaluated. A ranking will be established afterward.
