Job summary

Data Wizards is seeking an AI Engineer to transform client challenges into AI-powered solutions. You will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure production-ready, scalable architectures in Azure.

Requires 3–4 years in consulting or AI/ML roles, strong Python/SQL, NLP, PyTorch or TensorFlow, and fluent English. We offer a hybrid work model, stock options, generous benefits, and opportunities to grow with a pioneering data team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (such as business or engineering).
• 3-4 years of experience in a consulting environment or a related AI/ML engineering role.
• Experience at the intersection of consulting, machine learning engineering, and data science.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with clients to define business and technical requirements for AI and data-driven solutions.
• Designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and AI solutions tailored to various industries.
• Working with stakeholders to identify and implement AI strategies that drive business value.
• Ensuring models are production-ready, scalable, and adhere to best DevOps/MLOps practices.
• Leveraging cloud environments, particularly Azure, to optimize data processing and AI model performance.
• Engaging with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality AI solutions.
• Supporting continuous improvement of AI methodologies and contributing to internal innovations.
• Mentoring junior team members and sharing knowledge across the organization.
• Attending client meetings and presenting findings, recommendations, and AI solutions in a clear and structured manner.

As an AI Engineer, your mission would include:

Job requirements

You’re a step closer to joining our team if you bring:

Background

• A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (such as business or engineering).
• 3-4 years of experience in a consulting environment or a related AI/ML engineering role.
• Experience working at the intersection of consulting, machine learning engineering, and data science.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Python and SQL.
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning, AI, and statistical techniques.
• Hands-on experience with NLP is a significant plus.
• Proficiency in cloud environments, particularly Azure.
• Familiarity with popular machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience deploying AI/ML models into production and working with LLMs in a real-world setting.
• Knowledge of best practices in DevOps/MLOps.

Soft Skills

• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to translate business problems into AI-driven solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• A problem-solving mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.

Languages:

Fluent in English. French or Dutch Native.
