In The Pocket in Belgium is seeking a DevOps engineer to help scale reliability, performance and efficiency of our hosted products. You’ll own production systems, collaborate across teams and contribute to an AI-first operations approach.

You’ll work with OpenTelemetry, GitLab, Terraform and cloud-native architectures (GCP or AWS), building self-service capabilities and resilient pipelines. A collaborative, hands-on mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DevOps/SRE experience running production systems.
• Comfort with modern observability (OpenTelemetry) and incident management.
• Experience with CI/CD, IaC and cloud-native architectures (GCP/AWS).

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of internal and hosted production products for reliability and cost efficiency.
• Participate in incident lifecycle and on-call rotation with incident.io or similar.
• Define and implement SLIs/SLOs and assist with proposals and contracts.
• Contribute to observability stack and self-service tooling.
• Build reusable components and production-readiness scorecards.
• Work across CI/CD, IaC, cloud-networking for resilience and scale.
• Embed security practices: secrets mgmt, SAST/DAST, and vulnerability response.
• Automate toil and apply AI-first approaches to operations.
