Job summary

Fujitsu's Europe Wayfinders seeks a Forward Deployed Director to bridge engineering, consulting, and delivery, embedded with strategic clients in AI transformation programs.

You will design AI-enabled solutions and lead end-to-end delivery, demonstrating robust, production-grade systems within large enterprise environments.

Collaborating with senior stakeholders, you will drive adoption, governance, and measurable business outcomes while advancing Wayfinders' reference architectures.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience as a software engineer, AI engineer, or technical delivery lead.
• Proven track record of taking complex systems from prototype to production in enterprise environments.
• Experience building or deploying AI-enabled solutions (LLMs, ML-driven systems, automation).
• Solid engineering fundamentals: design, APIs, integration, testing, CI/CD, operational readiness.
• Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with sound decision making.
• Strong communication skills with engineers, architects, and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Client-embedded delivery with senior client teams to understand workflows and success metrics.
• Translate AI use cases into MVPs and production-ready solutions.
• Own end-to-end technical delivery from discovery to deployment.
• Design and build AI-enabled systems in enterprise environments.
• Write production-grade code (Python and modern full-stack tech).
• Ensure security, privacy, model risk, and governance align with enterprise needs.
