Job summary

SABCA Group in Brussels is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I (Surface Treatment) to drive industrialization of products and implement processes on the surface treatment line. You will optimize production means, define manufacturing methods, and ensure quality and cost targets.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field and 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, ideally in aerospace. French and/or Dutch language skills are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a manufacturing engineer, ideally in the aerospace sector.
• Data-driven, analytical, and solution-oriented approach.
• Rigor, autonomy, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication in French and/or Dutch.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with an ERP system (ideally SAP).
• CAD knowledge (CATIA V5, SolidWorks) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of new products and select manufacturing processes.
• Study and improve workstations for ergonomics, layout, and safety.
• Optimize and validate production for series production.
• Analyze changes in customer demands and their impact on manufacturing definitions.
• Support PFMEA and improve equipment testing and validation procedures.
• Ensure proper operation of surface treatment line through control systems programming and optimization.
