Job summary

SII Belgium is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to design and develop embedded software for aerospace systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure seamless integration with hardware.

The role requires strong C/C++, Python, and assembly skills, plus 5+ years of embedded software experience. Fluency in French and English is required, with a Master’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Real-time operating systems and embedded software experience.
• Strong knowledge of C/C++ and Python; assembly language practice.
• Experience with micro-controllers and bare-metal development.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Nice to have digital electronics experience.
• Fluent in French and English; master degree in related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for aerospace systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements.
• Work with hardware engineers to ensure proper system integration.
