Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or computer science with distinction (cum laude) or equivalent excellent academic results.
• Relevant fields include mechatronics, robotics, control engineering, mechanical engineering, deep learning, medical imaging.
• Meet admission requirements for the PhD programme at KU Leuven Arenberg Doctoral School.
• Demonstrated teamwork, problem-solving, independence and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on advanced robotic catheterization technologies for fast, safe navigation in emergency interventions.
• Assist in teaching activities up to 10% of working hours and participate in project tasks.
• Collaborate in an international, state-of-the-art research environment with emphasis on valorization and clinical validation.
• Engage with EiC PROMPT project and contribute to scholarly outputs.
