Job summary

Plouvier Group N.V. is seeking an experienced ADN Safety Advisor to strengthen our inland tanker fleet's safety and compliance framework. You will ensure ADN compliance, manage SMS documentation, and lead risk assessments with crew and shore teams.

The role emphasizes ADN expertise, administrative precision and proactive improvements, with collaboration across vessels and offices to implement robust safety practices.

Qualifications

• A valid ADN Safety Advisor certificate is required.
• Experience in inland shipping, preferably tanker operations.
• Strong ability to translate regulations into practical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Act as ADN Safety Advisor and ensure compliance with ADN requirements.
• Maintain accurate ADN & QHES documentation.
• Lead risk assessments, audits, inspections and incident investigations.
• Develop and maintain the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Support Captains, crews and Superintendents with ADN guidance.
• Analyze QHES data and drive continuous improvement.
• Work with focus groups to identify risks and practical solutions.
• Translate regulatory requirements into clear procedures and improvements.
• Contribute to longer-term improvements within the organisation.
