AQ nv in Antwerp seeks an Operator with a CE+ADR driving license to join our logistics team. You will set up, operate and dismantle industrial systems for degassing, inerting, and testing, and transport equipment to ships and terminals.

A safety-minded, independent professional who works well under time pressure is ideal for this role. We value experience with trucks or tractor-trailers, knowledge of mechanics, pumps or piping, and VCA basics (or willingness to obtain).

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Set up, operate, and dismantle degassing, inerting, drying, filtration, and pressure testing systems.
• Transport equipment to ships, terminals and other customer locations.
• Load and unload heavy equipment with attention to safety and proper lifting.
• Provide rental services: delivery, collection, cleaning and storage of equipment.
• Monitor vehicle fleet condition; report defects promptly.
• Use On-Board Unit (OBU) for tolls and mileage charges across BE/NL/DE.
• Check parameters (pressure, temp, flow) and report deviations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental regulations.
• Support installation activities for degassing, inerting, drying, filtration, and testing when needed.
• Experience with port/industrial transport is advantageous.
• Be customer-oriented and flexible; perform well under time pressure.

Key responsibilites

• Setting up, operating, and dismantling systems for degassing, inerting, drying, filtration, pressure testing, and cleaning.
• Transporting equipment (pumps, hoses, nitrogen containers, filters, tanks, etc.) to ships, terminals and other customer locations.
• Loading and unloading heavy equipment with attention to safety and correct lifting techniques.
• Providing rental services: delivery, collection, cleaning and storage of equipment.
• Monitoring the technical condition of the vehicle fleet before, during, and after vehicle use. Reporting defects or damage in a timely manner.
• Properly using the OBU (On-Board Unit) for tolls and mileage charges in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany.
• Checking technical parameters (pressure, temperature, flow rate) and reporting deviations.
• Compliance with all safety, quality and environmental regulations.
• In addition to logistical tasks such as transporting materials, loading and unloading equipment, and providing rental services, you will also assist in setting up, operating, and dismantling installations for degassing, inerting, drying, filtration, and pressure testing.

In possession of a CE+ADR driving license (experience with trucks or tractor-trailers is a plus).

Basic knowledge of mechanics, pumps, or piping systems is an asset.

In possession of VCA basic (or willing to obtain it).

Being able to work safely, independently and responsibly.

Willing to work in shifts and occasionally be active outside the site.

A forklift driver or truck-mounted crane operator certificate is an advantage.
