Jobtailor in Belgium seeks a Senior Accountant to supervise a team and manage SME portfolios. You will prepare tax packages, handle monthly reporting, and collaborate on complex financial statements.

The role requires a degree in accounting with significant firm experience, strong Excel skills, and a detail-oriented, team-focused approach. The position is based in West-Vlaanderen with close interaction with Bruges offices.

• Supervise a team of assistants across all of their assignments


• Prepare and submit tax packages


• Handle monthly reporting and maintain regular client contact


• Provide accounting and tax advice in collaboration with the firm's experts


• Review and close annual accounts


• Finalize the financial statements prepared


• Independently manage a portfolio consisting primarily of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs)


• Collaborate with the firm's Chartered Accountants at the Bruges office

Requirements

• Degree in accounting: BTS, DCG, DSCG, Master's degree in Accounting, Control and Auditing (CCA), or equivalent


• Proven experience in an accounting firm


• Proficiency in IT tools, particularly ACD, COT’TNS, and Excel


• Strong attention to detail


• Team-oriented approach
