Job summary

Qover is seeking an Accountant to join the Finance & Accounting team in Brussels. You will manage day-to-day accounting activities, close the books timely, and handle various operational queries. You will also help set up and improve internal processes and adopt new accounting tools.

Fluency in French or Dutch and English is required, with Excel as a core skill. The role offers a flexible hybrid work setup (up to three days remote per week), a space at WeWork Brussels, and opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 2-6 years of experience in Accounting.
• Experience in Insurance Accounting is a plus.
• Knowledge of BE GAAP, IFRS, Belgian standards and tax principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting activities for timely closing.
• Record revenues for transactional customers and bank statements for risk carriers.
• Reconcile payments and enter invoices in AR tool.
• Assist with insurance bordereaux data entry and controls.
• Support monthly close and ensure journal entries are properly documented.
