Lantmännen Unibake in Belgium invites an experienced Accountant to strengthen our Finance team in Londerzeel. You will manage day-to-day accounting, close processes, VAT and CIT, and support audits while driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial statements.
• Proficient with MS Office and accounting software.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day accounting for one or more entities, including purchases and payments.
• Oversee monthly and yearly closing, prepare reports and group forecasting.
• Prepare VAT, Intrastat, and CIT declarations; support audits.
• Improve accounting processes and implement new tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams as a trusted accounting advisor.

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to strengthen our Finance team in Londerzeel. You can get started right away

• You manage the day-to-day accounting for one or more legal entities, including purchase invoices, supplier payments, general ledger accounts, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• You take care of the monthly and yearly closing process, prepare financial reports and statutory accounts, and support monthly forecasts and Group reporting.
• You prepare VAT, Intrastat, and Corporate Income Tax (CIT) declarations and support both internal and external audits to ensure full compliance.
• You continuously look for ways to improve accounting processes, help implement new tools, and contribute to a more efficient Finance function.
• You work closely with colleagues across the business, acting as a trusted point of contact for accounting-related questions and supporting cross-functional projects.

• You hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• You have at least 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• You have a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial statements.
• You are a confident user of MS Office and have experience with accounting software.
• You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
