DPD (Belgium) NV/SA is seeking an Accountant to join our finance team in a structured, collaborative environment. You will support day-to-day accounting activities, including purchases, payments, bank statements, VAT/IC declarations, and month-end closings.

You will collaborate across the finance network and contribute to process improvements while ensuring data accuracy and timeliness in a dynamic, international group.

Qualifications

• Initial experience in General accounting.
• Experience with SAP is required.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
• Strong analytical skills with a hands-on mindset.
• Accurate, detail-oriented and well organized.
• Proactive, initiative-driven and able to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Process and verify purchase invoices and expense reports with a high level of accuracy.
• Prepare supplier payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Process bank statements and monitor cash reporting.
• Support the preparation of VAT and IC declarations.
• Assist in the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support audit preparation and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Ensure financial data is processed accurately, timely, and consistently.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects and process improvements.

We are looking for an Accountant to strengthen our team.

Reporting to the Chief Accountant, you will be involved in the day-to-day accounting activities of the company, including financial transactions, account reconciliations, and periodic closings. You will also contribute to process improvements and help ensure the accuracy and quality of financial data.

You will collaborate with the finance network across VINCI Energies Belgium Building Solutions , providing opportunities to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and further develop your expertise.

Your Role?

• Support the preparation of VAT and intra-community (IC) declarations.
• Assist in the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support audit preparation and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Ensure financial data is processed accurately, timely, and consistently.
• Support Corporate Income Tax (CIT) preparation.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives.

Your Profile:

• Experience with SAP is required.
