Job summary

Komforce Pty Ltd. is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap and delivery of a subscription billing and revenue management platform built on Zuora in Sydney.

You will own the end-to-end quote-to-cash lifecycle from subscriptions to revenue recognition, collaborating with finance, operations and technology to translate goals into a clear roadmap and delivery plan. This is a 6-month contract with extension potential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Zuora Billing experience (essential).
• Previous experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner or Consultant in subscription billing.
• Solid understanding of subscription business models and recurring revenue management.
• Experience with pricing and packaging, invoicing, payments and collections processes.
• Experience working across finance and technology stakeholders.
• Available for a 6 month contract.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product vision, roadmap and priorities for the billing and subscription management platform.
• Identify process improvements and platform enhancements with business stakeholders.
• Translate business goals into product initiatives, epics and a prioritised backlog.
• Drive billing lifecycle management including subscriptions, invoicing, payments and revenue recognition.
• Shape requirements for Zuora integrations with CRM and ERP platforms.
• Communicate roadmap decisions and trade-offs to senior stakeholders.

About The Role

We're looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap and delivery of a subscription billing and revenue management platform built on Zuora. This is a 6 month contract with a possibility of extension.

We're looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap and delivery of a subscription billing and revenue management platform built on Zuora. This is a 6 month contract with a possibility of extension.

You’ll own the product direction for the full quote-to-cash lifecycle, from subscriptions and pricing through to invoicing, payments, collections and revenue recognition. You’ll work closely with finance, operations and technology teams to turn business goals into a clear roadmap and get it delivered.

The right person has done this before in the Zuora space, either as a Product Manager running a billing platform or as a consultant implementing Zuora for enterprise clients.

What You’ll Do

Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Define and own the product vision, roadmap and priorities for the billing and subscription management platform
• Work with business stakeholders to identify process improvements and platform enhancements
• Translate business goals into product initiatives, epics and a prioritised backlog

Billing & Subscription Management

• Drive product initiatives across:
  • Subscription lifecycle management
  • Product catalogue and pricing management
  • Invoicing and payments
  • Collections and dunning
  • Revenue recognition
  • Financial reporting and reconciliation
• Make sure billing processes keep up with changing business and regulatory requirements

Integration & Data

• Shape requirements for integrations between Zuora and CRM and ERP platforms
• Work with technical teams on data flows, reconciliation and reporting accuracy across systems

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the main point of contact between finance, operations, sales and technology teams
• Run requirements workshops and communicate roadmap decisions and trade-offs clearly
• Report progress and priorities to senior stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have

• Hands-on Zuora Billing experience (this is essential)
• Previous experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner or Consultant in the subscription billing space
• Solid understanding of subscription business models and recurring revenue management
• Experience with pricing and packaging, invoicing, payments and collections processes
• Experience working across finance and technology stakeholders
• Available for a 6 month contract

Technical Depth

• Zuora Billing configuration concepts: product catalogue, rate plans, bill runs, payment runs
• Revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 / IFRS 15)
• CRM and ERP integration patterns (e.g. Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
• Agile delivery and backlog management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)

Preferred Certifications

• Zuora Billing certification
• Zuora Revenue certification
• Product management or product owner certification (e.g. CSPO, PSPO)

NICE TO HAVE

• Zuora Revenue (RevPro) or Zuora CPQ experience
• Background with a Zuora implementation partner or consultancy
• Experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud or Salesforce CPQ
• Industry experience in SaaS, telco, media or other subscription-heavy businesses
